Miss Ava just turned a month old.
Her original due date was yesterday.
I can't believe that we have had her for a month already.
She is considered a preemie.
She is tiny. None of her newborn clothes fit. She still sleeps ALOT.
Am I sad about any of those things?
Nope.
Don't get me wrong.
I am not happy that she wasn't 100% when she was born. I am not happy that she spent her first week of life in the NICU. I am not happy that I had to go home with empty arms.
BUT...
I get to have a newborn for a
little.bit.longer.
And for that, I am happy.

Tiny babies are the best!!! I don't know any different though. I love them tiny. i'm so glad she is doing well. She is beautiful.
